Plugins & mods

Rustinew comes with a curated 21-plugin foundation pack pre-installed. You can add your own plugins, request configuration changes, or stick with the defaults.

The pre-installed Foundation Pack

Every Rustinew server starts with these 21 plugins, configured sensibly out of the box:

Chat & moderation

• BetterChat — Coloured chat with rank tags, channel filters.
• AntiSpam — Throttles repeat chat and command spam.
• CheaterReport — /report command pipes reports to your Discord.

Admin tools

• AdminLogger — Logs every admin action for audit trail.
• Vanish — Admin invisibility (server-side only, no GUI).
• Godmode — Admin damage immunity.
• TimedPermissions — Time-bounded permissions (trial mod, weekend VIP, etc).
• EntityOwner — Track who built what (great for raid investigations).

Anti-cheat

• Arkan — No-recoil + aimbot detection. Webhooks alerts to your Discord.
• HoneyPot / AutomatedStashTraps — Catches cheaters using ESP to find admin stashes.
• Guardian — Heli & Bradley anti-camp + anti-grief.
• NoEscape — Prevents combat-logging and raid-block exploits.

QoL & safety

• EntityCleanup — Periodic cleanup of orphaned entities (perf).
• NoStackCheat — Blocks stacking exploits.
• GatherManager — Active only if you've set a non-vanilla gather rate.

Rustinew custom

• RustinewEvents, RustinewWipeAnnouncer, RustinewMapVote, RustinewWelcome, RustinewLinker, RustinewStats, RustinewHealth, RustinewAutoUpdate.

Uploading your own plugins

From the Plugins tab in your dashboard:

1. Zip the plugin .cs file (and any config defaults).
2. Drag-and-drop into the Plugins tab or click "Upload".
3. Optionally attach a proof-of-purchase screenshot if it's a paid plugin.
4. Hit Submit. We review, install, and configure within 24h (usually faster).

You can submit up to 3 plugins per upload session. Files are kept securely and never shared with other customers.

Paid plugin licenses

If you want a paid plugin (e.g., Rust:IO, ServerArmour, premium uMod plugins):

• Buy the license under your name from the original vendor (uMod, Codefling, etc).
• Upload the plugin zip + proof-of-purchase screenshot.
• We install + configure for you.

You own the license. If you ever leave Rustinew, the license follows you.

Requesting plugin changes

For configuration changes to plugins we've already installed (different chat colour, different cooldowns, etc.):

1. Open a support ticket via the Support tab.
2. Describe what you want changed and on which plugin.
3. We push the change on next config sync (usually within hours).
